I keep reading posts here on PDF members criticising and blaming politicians oakistans economic collapse...politicians of India and Bangladesh are and were as corrupt as Pakistani politicians...but both BD and india are on the path of progress..So,its not politicians that are solely responsible for this situation.
Hasn't army ruled Pakistan for the major part of their history?Wasn't PA responsible for their misplaced priorities? Wasn't army responsible for Pakistans enmity with India and disproportionate allocation of funds for themselves and for weapons? Wasn' t PA responsible for training and growing terrorists and their networks as proxies against India?
Nobody in Pakistan has the courage to point out fingers at real culprits ; politicians are easy targets...
Pakistan can have real progress when there is real democracy ;not the one where govts are controlled by army..no matter how corrupt thr govt is, democracy will have the scope to evolve and get the fruits of development ...last but not the least..democracy should be coupled with good relations with India...the present situation has a lot to do with their animosity towards India.

You only have to look at the economic stats and correlate them with who was in charge during that point. You will have the answer for yourself. The information is available for you on Google.

As long as the Pakistani people are behind the Army, the rest of the world must accept it.

I will vote for a politician who declares war on India and cut all ties with Bangladesh. And i have never voted in my entire life.
I forgot to mention another reason for the downfall of Pakistan...their extreme emotions..although I have never visited Pak, from what I gather on net , I found them extremely emotional...Indians on the other hand dont let their emotions dominate their rational thinking that easily...

Let's reverse your argument. Why a new power center gets created? When there is a true vacuum. Check past two decades of political history in Pakistan. It has been blamed game on previous government either military or civilian. The current one will come and has an intent to only make money and power until someone will replace them. in all this chaos only one thing remains stable which is military. Being a small country and rules by only two political families and dominated by two provinces this will happen naturally. Long term fix has decentralized the power of these families. How? By dividing provinces into a small administrative zone. Then you will see a new breed of local leaders emerging and representing people. At that time "Another" power center has to come to terms and start doing what it should actually do.

If India was emotional on 28th , they would have waged a war on Pak..but they realised the consequences and backed off..

A combination of arrogance and delusion is the hallmark of the most of the educated Indian Hindus.
