I think in historical terms it is no big deal. It took them two thousand years to get the state of Israel. They have held on to it for 70 odd years big deal. Every race religion has it's day. they may well be powerful today but that is very much linked to Pax America. We know America is on the wane. Jews are not some kind of super humans, people!

The reason for their influence is mostly historical.
