Well, CCP is not a monolith, there are multiple factions within CCP. Chinese favors cooperative consultative discrete approach to settle differences rather than your public argumentative dialog way.

If you leave the interpretation of stability in the hands of one political party, you opened the doors for political oppression. But then you would say nothing is broken.

Yes, on the whole, Chinese trust the government to make that decision. Chinese has been that way since more than two thousand years ago. It has kept China as one unified country since.

In China, it is the government job to maintain stability and unity. Diversity would be allow if it do not harm both. To keep the balance of unity and diversity in order to achieve stability has always been the job of every government in China.

You considered one party equal political oppression, for you it is like god's gospel, but it does not necessary have to be so. The converse is also true, multiple parties do not guarantee no political oppression. And if political oppression is necessary, it will be done.

If India had suffered the same kind of damage like China, that Indian would have a different opinion. Too bad the Japanese didn't massacre the Indians during WW2 because they invited the Americans to join the war thus they had an extra enemy to fight. Otherwise more Japanese troops would have entered India.

Let's look what a tumultuous month we went through:

We had ADIZ, first, and how the US almost cut China short.

Later, some democratic Indian tried to start revolution in China well before the Tiennanmen anniversary.

Then, or, about the same time, we had the oil rig, and we almost had a Viet revolution.Some Pinoy called China a bully. LOL.

Comes Tiennanmen, and all hell broke loose. Indians are all around with some democratic Viets.

There comes HK protests and Indians getting excited again. No revolution in China. Yet.

Oh, Ramadan, and Xinjiang, turkish brotherhood is in full-bloom. We had a 360 degree of understanding how turkish feel strongly about their kins, lost brothers, and the fellowship of the ring that somehow got lost in the Tengri Mountains.

While all these happening in China that is on the verge of collapse, disintegration, and revolution, India grew into an industrial powerhouse, Viet started to build an SSN, Turkey declared the caliphate in Istanbul with General Sisi and President Assad presenting gifts to Sultan Erdogan, Obama grew a second halo over his head, and Japan cleaned up Fukushima and declared all fish not contaminated. LOL.

Thus is the sum up of the past three months or so. Go figure out who is aggressive.

So, it all happened on the cyber-space since Indians are not allowed to start revolution in real life.

And overwhelming numbers of "China is going to collapse" threads (we still have them now, but fewer in number).

But I seriously wish that China has a potent and strong cyber-army to flood the anti-China forums etc.

But as I see it, even the Global Times comment sections are invaded by anti-China folks.
