Come on dude, Ravana had ethics? Stealing other man's wife also showed some ethics?

As I said it's the shade of gray. Hindus worship the qualities demonstrated not the person himself/herself.

People worship Ram for his principled life - be it obeying his father, being loyal to his wife and for putting kingdom's interests before his love for his family.

In the same way Ravana also had some good qualities like his love towards his mother, his devotion towards Shiva and not forcing Sita to marry him.

I was not supporting Ravana's act of kidnapping Sita in my post.
