Long march 5 just launched. Tell me, my Indian friend, when I can see a heavy Indian rocket capable of LEO 25t? We are also developing long march 9 for manned moon mission, LEO 130t, you don't see us boasting that america depends on us, do you?

U guys have a reputation of talking big and delievering none. Less than 4 years left and no powerful cryogenic engines, I highly doubt you can jump from 8t to 25t.

We did say that we'll do a Mars Mission & successfully executed it. So keep your propaganda BS away.

We will test our first 2 MN Semi-cryogenic engine engine by next year, So getting from 10 to 25 tonnes is not a big deal anyway.

This Indian poster simon claimed - India is qualitatively much better than China. I just don't understand how Indians can be this stupid? In what way, like payload capability, soft landing on moon, manned space flight, docking, space station? U are lagging behind at least 20 years. Foe example, your pride yet-to-be-launched glsv-3, we had it 22 years ago.

MoM was indeed a success, and surprisingly executed on schedule, but it was an exception rather than norm among many high profile Indian projects. For example, GSLV-MK-3 was first scheduled for 2008-2009, and the most recent schedule is for the end of this year, a delay of 8 years. Not to mention your grandiose plans for the maned space flight by 2015, and the maned Moon landing by 2020. You can't really blame Chinese propaganda BS for your pathetic track-records, besides Chinese media rarely pick on India.

My best wish for GSLV-MK3's success, as it will be a true milestone for Indian space program. Just don't keep us waiting for too long with yet another delay.

Up to today, you still rely on foreigners to launch your communication satellites. Your pride GSLV-3 LEO payload is only 8t, our Long March 3A with 8.5t LEO payload first launch was 1994, 22 years ago.

Your next payload (planned Jan 2017) on GSLV-3 is only 3.5t, while tomorrow our Long March 5 with LEO payload 25t will have a maiden launch.

"10 small satellites in one go"...we can, but with what rocket?? Falcon 9 is $62 million.....Atlas V 401 is $100 million!!

meanwhile PSLV costs $15 million and can launch 20 micro/small satellites.

LVM 3 wasn't expected for 2008-09, it's sub-orbital flight was. It was always pegged in 2011-2012 period.

There has never been an approval for $ 2 billion funding for the Indian manned spaceflight even though the planning commission had approved it- and that's the only hindrance.
