Why al-Qaeda finds no recruits in India

Majority of Pakistani's always bring out this Indian Muslims card because their existence (as Indians) irks them and the IM's are like a nail in the utopian dream of separate homeland for Indian Muslims (& Indians are just too quick to point that out :P)

Recently with the economy moving forward and Indian Muslims like any other random Indian off the street are feeling more confident in their country and that is just infinite pain for the people across the border.

.
Muslims are waiting for their numbers to rise when they would serious blows to the security and integrity of india.

We have been seeing it in kashmir for many decades ....

Kereal and Assam are on the verge of massive implosion whose evidence is clearly there for the watchful eyes.

What happened in mumbai shows the belligerence of muslim mob who see no harm in damaging site dedicated to martyrs.

I've no problem with individual muslims but muslims as community are most fundamentalist among all religionists.
The rise Muslims numbers means threats not just to nonmuslim's why of life but concepts like democracy secularism ,freedom of speech... etc which we Indians take for granted.

That apart we have enough home grown jihadist to make life miserable for us to worry few al-Qaeda recruit. From 2003 to 2008 there were dfozens bomblast every year by the ****** groups claiming lives 100s of innocents inducing few mulims in them . Though that threat hasbeen brought down by security agencies ,but threat is still present .

And educated muslim will be on the side of secularism, freedom of speech etc. We should improve our education standard and reach so that people are not gullible and believe everything they hear.
More information and knowledge should be made available to everybody.

Secular Education would certainly help to an extent apart from living as minority in a secular state.

The problem of Muslim radicalism can be best addressed by moderate and secular muslim if they exist.

Unfortunately when it comes to liberal ideas even educated one like Najeeb Jung, Vice Chancellor of Delhi's Jamia Millia University mentioned in the article, speak in the voices of rabid mullah . You can blame it politcal parties who calls themseves as paragon of secularism but marginalize moderate muslims and make allaince with fundo muslim parties such as MIM ,hyderabad or in Kerela.

First of all one cannt just brush aside genuine grievences, even if it is voiced by radicals. One can reduce a lot of extremism by openly discussing the issues that some people think are important.
For example a racist entity like BNP is driving immigrant vs native agenda here, and has gained lot of support (so does UKIP). Its because mainstream political parties dont talk about these issues openly, and are seen to be hiding something.

Because to be a fighter u need balls and heart, in India that is hard to find, spineless version it Muslims or Hindus, history is a witness to that.

.
^^Or may be you need people who are terrorist by birth ( fault in the blood) to be a part of Al Qaeda and thus no recruits in India but only in few other parts.

@Don Jaguar,
dude Deobandis in India comes in limelight only on social issues. Deobandi in Pakistan became extremist because of petrodollar and Ziaul Haq. Deobandis in India also believe in Sufism, don't know how they changed in Pakistan

Not at all.

Some of them have declared that sunnis are not muslims.

My neighbours were Deobandis who believed in Sufism and made a visit to Ajmer Sharif many times. You can even check on wikipedia Deobandis believe in certain Sufi traditions.

Indian Muslims are not stupid, they are not going to fight someone else's war.

And perhaps to fight they would demand Basic+PF+HRA+DA+ Bonus+ Paid leave +Paid vacation+Hospital allowance+Entertainment allowance+Honeymoon allowance+Arrears etc.

Hamaare yahaan Jihad bhi Sarkaari naukri ki taraan chalta hain.
