If you drive around Kabul long enough, you will eventually see what must be the most cheerful slogan in Afghanistan.

"Enjoy Today!" it reads. "Forget Tomorrow!"

...

For a long time, Kabul was fairly safe for foreigners. They ate in cafes and restaurants. Now you're about as likely to see a Western diplomat strolling the streets as a polar bear. "They're locked up, basically," Kerry Jane Wilson said in an interview with NPR in March.

Afghanistan controlled by the Taliban is not really a threat to the rest of the world on its own. The real problem is their alliance with Al Qaeda. If they break the link then I would be in favour of NATO leaving Afghanistan completely.

Why is Afghanistan on the brink? Because of corruption and infighting. when you have slogans like the one you highlighted. You know that time is not on your side.

Afghans are not on same page as far as their banking on different countries or country is concerned.

Afghanistan is on brink as well as Pakistan suffers because both they countries failed to join hands sincerely.
