Why 21st century can well be India's

well, i behold this article to be genuine as it talks bout possibilities. with time india will only go forward. no doubt water in india's glass is much less than that of china or any other comparable country but i think its understood that india's glass is of much bigger size than that of china. now the question is, how fast do we fill the water. no doubt a little slow but the glass will be filled.

Once upon a time India was the centre of the world. But those days are gone and may never return. We dont hope for 21st century to exlusively to belong to us. But we certainly want to be the top 3, to who the 21st century belongs. And Ram kare, we will be in that top 3

I won't like India to behave or even have intentions to become superpower just like US who dictates her term around the world.. but want to see india as west european countries like norway, finland etc where People are prosperous and at peace.

For 75% percent of the stated historical period, India was indeed at the centre of the world in terms of economic prosperity.

Do you now realize, why Europeans set out to find a route to India, when the Arabs blocked the land route?

historical GDP figures are unreliable at best, down right useless in some cases, while we do know that india was one of the richer area at the time we cannot say it was the richest. for instance i can find other reports that says china was the richest for the majority of the time in the past 2000 years
