@Old School , Thank you for clarifying but personally I think Pakistan has/should have direct interest in Afghanistan and invisible action don't reach millions of Sikh people to whom the IS statement reads "We have killed those Sikhs in behalf of Pakistan". Indian media also translated the statement just like that. While I respect your opinion I think it's time Pakistan administration get in the game of information warfare of current world.
@Pan-Islamic-Pakistan , I think Daesh are called Kahareji by some based on some characteristics of long extinct Khareji firka. But it's member base comes from people who call themselves Salafi. Saudi Arabia, preaches 2 flavours of Salafism. They preach a somewhat liberal flavour among Arab youths as they know any school of thought which calls other Muslims kafir won't get popularity among Arab people who are used to seeing all sorts of Muslims (though recently they are focusing more on 2nd flavour). But on the outside world they preach and fund a very hardline flavour called Madkhalism. When Saudi Arabia got involved in Syria their Salafi court-scholars immediately issued fatwa supporting the Jihad in Syria as they usually do and Salafis (most of whom were Madkhalis) started pouring into Syria. Later the most extreme Salafis broke away from rest of the Muslim rebels and started attacking them instead. If you see Daesh occupied part of Afghanistan you'll see they teach little children all kinds of Salafi practise and thoughts including their distinctive style if praying (standing spreading legs as far as possible). They also use Salafi/Ahle Hadis fatwa to claim Taliban (aka Muslims of Deobondi masalak/follower of Majhab) are Kafeer and justifying their practise of making widow of dead Taliban members sex-slaves. If you search using the term "Salafi Haftar" you'll find that the main force which is fighting Islamist forces in Libya on behalf on Israeli-CIA supported Hafter are almost all Arab Salafi of Madkhali doctrine (much like Salafi/Ahle Hadis of this sub-continent). Salafis also supported General Sisi against Egyptian president Muhammad Mursi and collaborated against his supporters during the massacre. So in Egypt all Islamic parties are were banned from election except the representative of Salafis, An Noor party.
I think Saudi Arabian regime along with Israel wanted a "Saudi version of Shia" who'll support the royal family (like Alawats supports Asad) and that'll also will be friendly to Israel and they got that (if Salafism started as something else is now irriverent). My cousin is a Salafi/Ahle Hadis (so was I for a short period) and he along with Bangladesh's local Salafi sheikh calls Hamas terrorist and thinks Palestinians should leave Palestine (for a example). They also (along with Berelovis/Majaris) supported our India backed government when there was huge fight in the capital city between the government and Islamists. When I look at world politics I see Madkhali Salafis always colleborating with Kafirs and stand against Muslim interest at any excuse.
To create this kind of ferka among Sunnis, creators had to lead these people away from majority scholars of Ahle Sunnat wal Jamat by focusing on every detached opinion of few scholars making them believe that "all of these thousands scholars are wrong except these 2/3". I saw (in my country BD) that Sunni scholars can answer their every accusation and always eager to sit with them face to face but they get overwhelmed by the huge amount of petrodollar budget the Salafis have and their use of information and technology. The side effect of using such process (to demonize most scholars) to create a firka is that Salafis tend to only value the opinion of a few Saudi based/related scholars and see others as liars. So if for any reason they lose their believe on their scholars they start to live by only their own opinion. That's why we see 2 kind of political/militant Salafi. One kind follows mainstream Saudi royal family based Salafi scholars and support Kafirs politically (Egypt, Bangladesh etc.) or militarily (Libya). The other kind is who lost faith in those court-scholars but as they became Salafi by disrespecting all other Sunni scholars in the first place, they don't value their opinion either and follows their own mind and cause more suffering to Muslims in name of preventing it (ISIL, parts of Al-Qaida etc.).
However this my own personal opinion by socialising with Ahle Hadis/Madkhali Salafis for many years. It might not necessarily match everyone's experience. I think even liberal Salafi's practise of treating Fikah as common knowledge while not having minimum knowledge of being a Mufti is a recipe for disaster and it will only lead to Madkhalism, if not in first generation then in second.
