Does russia or china have any history of training Iran's regular infantry, revolutionary guards, special forces, and if they did how long ago did they train em? cause anything before 2000 is primitive compared to modern day training.

Just for the record, what revolutionary changes have come since 2000 in infantry training & tactics ?

They still hold ground, still assault the only difference being that weapons may have changed - the same weapons are used by soldiers of other arms too.

Guys, first of all please don't bash on me for being a Turk commenting your militay.

@Parthianshot

Mate, this your second thread about the tactics/traning of the Iranian military. In your previous thread, i spotted some major wrongs in terms of tactics. Let me reveal them to you.

First of all Sniper in 2:00

-Why to use a primitive bolt action anti-material rifle which you have to reload manually ? Your rifle should have been with a magazine, if you can't produce it you have to procure it... that's how things work in my country..
- Also, where is the god damn spotter ??

Secondly,

Rescue operation in the ship....

Mate, in close quarters you don't run like crazy...you move slowly, you don't break your aim as a hostile can pop anywhere any second. Also you move with your squat, you don't venture in all alone as someone should cover you. Best example from the video is at 5:48 where he turns his back to below deck...:disagree:

The proper way is in the video below, watch from 7:40

I spotted mistakes aswell, hence why I posted that thread.

Because ever since 2000 or atleast late 90s squad tactics have been implemented when it comes to training all modern armed forces, anything before that is 1940s style of warfare which is inferior.

They train with Hizbollah terrorists.
Correction, we trained hezbollah.

The point is, i don't think any other country whom have a professional army is training your soldiers at the moment. As we wouldn't had see these basic mistakes.
Maybe not all Iranians forces but im sure certian special forces are being trained by russians or chinese troops. Iranian swat teams for example are alot more professional.

That awkward moment when Hezbollah terrorists are more advanced, healthy and successful than the goshne pa pati canon fodder soldiers of Pakistan. Biafra is more advanced and organized than Pakistan. You really should curb the smack talk wahabi. It's like a guy from Sudan talking shit in front of an Egyptian. Sure, Egypt is no Denmark, but it sure as hell beats whatever Sudan has to offer. Same here. Curb the smack talk Biafra.

They never show the real tactics on a TV show. the reason is simple because you can find disadvantages of the combat tactics from a simple video clip.:D
Iranian naval special forces have a quite nice operational record in the 8 year war. Also recently they acted quite well in hostage rescue operations in gulf of Aden with zero casualties.

BTW Before 1979 revolution these guys were trained by US marines and British SBS.

Any source for that? Russia?! China?!
