Who on PDF has studied in english medium school

. .
You know we have same ratings, you have +12 and I have -12, the difference is only of +- :D

Despite having been schooled in an Urdu-medium institution, you appear to have excellent command of the English language too. My first school was French-medium, after which we moved and I was put into an English-medium institution. It should suffice to say once we moved back to Pakistan I was severely disadvantaged on a practical level, being more fluent in English and French than in Urdu. Lol. I'm sure I sounded like a nut-job (read Bilawal).

I am A south Indian.

Fate has already given me a lesson in humility.

@Ravi Nair your south Indian jokes have become as repeatitive as @Armstrong 's 'I heard ... ' :warning2:

Well I have noticed some pdf members have very good command on english language which usually a signature of schooling in english medium from childhood ...

I am interested to know about the medium of instruction during the schooling of pdf members........

For myself I was always in urdu medium school till matriculation, actually during high school I used to converse with my teacher mostly in punjabi rather than urdu ....... I can safely say that I have spoken punjabi more than urdu in my school and same was the case with all other school mates , Gujranwala is a very proud punjabi speaking area perhaps that could be the reason why our teachers and even lecturers in college never raised any objection on us speaking in punjabi even during classes of urdu or english languages

Shahmir Bhai is that you in the picture?

Biaaach....... I studied in Pushto medium! :D

are you from Parachinar?

You will be surprised that I was the first member of my family who ever studied beyond matriculation, all others in my family were either matric or under-matric :D. Most of my friends in neighborhood also dropped somewhere around matric level but I somehow continued my studies till university because of fear of my parents because they used to beat me a lot in case I was not studying properly :D. And now I am in germany since many many years and this is causing some decrease in my english proficiency and in return I have gained only an average command on german, so it is a loose loose situation for me in germany :D. English was my favorite subject during my schooling as it is/was compulsory as a subject in all government run urdu-medium schools.
