its because of the strongly blowing wind.if the direction of wind is opposite to the aircraft then it makes easy to lift specially for glider type aircrafts.it even helps in landing too.
is it just me or did it look like the aircraft took a steep dip and was about to land again...cuz that bit is chopped off i wonder why
