False. There was a burial of 14 SSP men that were killed in Syria on 14th August in Karachi. That is the one I know about. This should be happening in other cities as well, especially the ones with high terrorist activity.

Pakistan Taliban set up ‘jihad cell’ in Syria

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an outlawed umbrella of militant groups blamed for most violence in Pakistan, has set up a special cell in Syria to coordinate the ongoing ‘jihad’ against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad, reports the BBC Urdu.

“The cell has been established with the help of the Arab fighters who had fought in Afghanistan and have now moved to Syria to take part in the jihad,” a Taliban official told the BBC Urdu. “In the last two months, around 12 information technology experts have moved to Syria.”

Pakistani authorities have refused to comment on the revelation.

According to the Pakistan-based militant groups, the majority Sunni population in Syria has been subjected to oppression by the minority Alawite regime of Bashar al Assad.

The coordinating official of the cell, Muhammad Amin, told the BBC that the cell was set up six months ago “in order to keep a watch on the ongoing jihad”. The cell shares information regarding the Syrian conflict with Pakistan-based militants.

According to Muhammad Amin, the Taliban’s Syrian friends, who had helped them in the ‘Afghan jihad’ now help the people running the cell. “The cell assesses the needs of Syrian jihad and offers help in joint operations.” He added that dozens of fighters in Pakistan were ready to take part in the war in Syria.

Assad is not that dumb to use WMD which will risk a foreign intervention. This is rebels and there were enough defector from Syrian army who could had their hand on Chemical Weapons depot.

I dont believe west have the courage to go to Syria with Russia and Chinese are watching the back of Assad. Too risky.

China wouldn't be on back of Assad ... Rebels are in majority ... Then why would they use chemical weapons to kill their own people ... Then who had allowed to them to carry chemical weapons ..............

Lol,Georgia yes but it was right next door to Russia.What about Ukraine,did Russia invade it? Nobody gives 2 cents about S300 and other russian missiles they're good weapons but not so that they can stop a full NATO invasion ,they'll be pummelled to the ground alongside the syrian army. What did they do about Irak.If NATO wants they go on in and Russia can't do absolutely nothing.

It is not about Pakistan though or about Pakistani Shia though.

It is about the tragic loss of life of people in Syria. One hopes things are brought to control fast and this mindless violence stops soon.
