Its the Iraqi sovereignty which is getting raped by both Iran and America for years. Both needs to get the hell out of Iraq and let the Iraqis decide on how they want to run their country. The recent Iraqi parliament session is an eye opener where all Sunni members of Parliament boycotted it because they see American presence as a counterweight to Iran! This is how messed up that country has become thanks to both Iran and America. Solamani got neutralised as a tug of war between Iran and US, BOTH ARE EVIL. There is no right or wrong here. And yes I do recognise the dangers to Pakistan and I have been vocal in saying that we need to secure our border with Iran. The Persian quest to revive their long lost empire will eventually get them in trouble, its only a matter of time. We just need to secure ourselves.

BTW the successor of Soleimani was directly responsible in recruitment of Pakistani Shias for Syrian war. We might see more of such activities during his tenure but I expect nothing from our gov or army against this blatant interference in our country by these sectarian mullahs.

From what I hear from the military and intelligence committees is that in the last 2 years the relationship with Iran have been going forward at a brisk pace.

Especially since we refused to send troops to Yemen, and refused to become a part of containment of Iran.

Other countries that have encouraged this is especially China, then Russia, among Muslim countries, Qatar and Turkey have been encouraging better relations with Iran.

This increased further when the gulfies started hugging Modis balls.

Uncle Rafi I can't take the hypocrisy of Iranians and their supporters. I am the same guy who was supporting Hasan Nasrallah during the Lebanon war and was an avid supporter of Iran. I wouldn't even think twice If I had the chance to leave for Lebanon to fight alongside Hezbollah.

All that changed in Syrian war. Supporting Assad exposed the mullah regime of Iran so I am not angry I am just disappointed.
