The people of Myanmar are friends, but the Bangladeshis are brothers. However awfully they behave, however irrational their talk and their actions, however stupid they might act at times - one little snip is a permanent offence against mankind - they are still blood of our blood. As the more powerful nation, we have no choice, finally, but to swallow hard and smile weakly.
To be truthful, we are more or less in the same position regarding Pakistan. Ultimately, we have to make the concessions and pick up the slack, however exasperating they may be in their behaviour towards us. Leaving aside their lunatic racism and ignoring it as best as one can.
