Who ‘gets’ Pakistan?

What about Ahmediyas in the Land of the Pure ? Will they be treated with respect even though they are Muslims in spirit but not in the Pakistani constitution ?

Why so sympathetic to the Ahmadiya cause ?.... I know many and they are as patriotic as any Pakistani despite how other Muslims treat them.... and they too loathe the propaganda against Pakistan on many issues.

When i see Ahmediyas being taunted and treated as second-rate citizens, Jinnah's pitch for having a Pakistan as a homeland for Muslims seemed a guffaw ; Hence, even i wanted to 'get' Pakistan for what it stands, for Pakistanis or for Islam ? Can one exist with the other ?

But even the Gujarat riots pale in comparison to what's happening in Karachi. In fact we can put the Gujarat massacre, the Babri Masjid riots and the Kandhamal massacre of the Christians to get Karachi ethnic cleansing and massacres just for the period from June 2009 to July 2011. This means that muslims are killing more muslims, than non-muslims are killing muslims. What have you to say about that ?
