General Clutch: because he never gets his gears stuck!

Just kidding... I voted Khalid bin Walid because the "Sword of Allah" could never be second.

Besides the Western intellectual will never give the credit to a moslem and their brainwash has done wonders on our confused neo-LibTurds... So I vote Hz. Khalid ...

taking an army away for thousands of miles is not easy task in logistics
Yes it is definitely no easy task and many of the generals on this list did march their armies over very long distances, which is impressive to say the least.

That was not the case in the few battles I checked.
Also, battles presented as beeing against numerical and qualitatively foes, may be just propaganda.
Which battles did you check?
And I don't see what good propaganda will do you when it's OBVIOUS that an army of Bedouin Arabs will be inferior numericaly and qualitatively if pit against the Sasanian and Byzantine empires.
Both these empires had larger manpower reserves to raise armies from, centuries of experience in warfare, several treatises on military tactics and strategy and, most importantly, larger economies to sustain the armies.

Just the norm of white people to give excuses when non whites kick ***.

According to Western history when Muslims win its either luck or numbers when it comes to their own stuff all they do is overrate and foam at their victories.

They will constantly give out excuses as they refuse to give credit to people who they see as inferior just a classic case of racist arrogance nothing else.

This is my first post. I would like to know who you think was the greatest general in history. Also please state why. Thank you.

I think no one was as capable as Muhammad PBUH as a General. he fought and won loop sided battles.

If the person is Muslim, they will try to denigrate him/her.

Khalid bin Walid constantly defeated armies more numerous and better equipped than his, due mainly to his faith and his wit alone.

As for Alexander the Great/ Sikander e Azam/ Zulqarnain, not as much is known about him as is known about the early Muslims, but no doubt he was also a pious and righteous leader who commanded absolute loyalty from his people.

HE WAS NOT DHUL QARNAYN, STOP SAYING THAT

Some scholars have said the Alexander was Zulqarnain. They're wrong. Two different people, many other scholars agree they were two different people.

One was Greek, the other Persian. Zulqarnain also came before the times of Alexander. :enjoy:

Salah Udin, Alexander, Rommel, George Washington, Tariq bin Ziad, Sultan Mohammad Fateh and many more are missing from the list. Some fought battles some wars and then there were those who ran campaigns.
We have to look deeper into History and wars.
Wellington who defeated Napoleon is one then there were sea admirals no one talks about.

1453 victory by the Ottoman Empire is also denigrated with dumb myths and excuses.

The Ottomans won by numbers
The Ottomans took months to take the city when the idiots themselves who say this forget it was a siege
Ottomans took the city due to somebody opening the gates this myth basically came like 200 or 300 years after the city fell and still being spread as a dumb myth.

Islamic history still being denigrated today. Our history has been systematically being wiped out.

There is an opinion that he may be Kurush.

Allahu Alim.

These are the kinds of differences where we should just move on and not argue about it.
