Christendom has been used by historians and is still used. Hindus are not even close to the geographic depth of Muslims or Christians and they never have held any empire beyond S.Asia either.

This one's been discussed for years on this forum. Let me make a clear explanation;

Yes Turkey is a "Secular, democratic, social republic", that's what constition says.
Of course we have a muslim majorty. But I can say that only 60% of the muslims in Turkey can be considered religious people. I mean practisers. But they are secular too.

Inside the military, i can say that only privates, specialists and a little part of NCOs can be considered as real Muslim. The rest of the military (especially the NAVY) is hardly Secular and loyal to Ataturk's reforms.

Why still think Turkey Navy is top five.

They still can't protect their Flotilla incident, they were promised to bring their mighty Navy to confront Israel after Flotilla but it doesn't now. They can't confront Russia/Syria as well. Doesn't have independence policy from NATO allies or standard system.

It degrade their navy rank to 16 positions or lower.
