last i heard, the guy was taken to a U.S airfield to be transferred to a prison. Reports have suggested that he has a couple of broken ribs and swollen thigh muscles.

it is the other way round.but i also believe that people who're killing innocent people (Muslims or not) in India and Pakistan and elsewhere in the world are also terrorists.what do they get out of it?? nothing.They are just mentally torturing themselves and physically(to death) others.

More Potential Terrorists in Netherlands Now than Last Year

THE HAGUE, 20/12/08 - The estimated number of "potentially radical" Muslims in the Netherlands has increased. Home Affairs Minister Guusje ter Horst said on Friday that there are up to 3,000, 500 more than she reported in September 2007.

Ter Horst sent the Lower House the Trend Analysis 2008, which analyses left-wing, right-wing but primarily Muslim radicalism. The "numerous measures taken in recent years" are starting to bear fruit, according to the minister. For example, the number of sermons in mosques that include incitements to violence and hatred has decreased, according to the report, although no figures are given to back up this claim.

"After a period of polarisation and alienation, the past year seems to indicate some moderation," the report stated. "Society has become more resistant to extremist Muslim influences," the press release issued by Ter Horst stressed. In the full report, however, this sentence is followed by the sentence: "But the radical, anti-democratic standpoint is still given the opportunity to present itself as the only true form of Islam."

Only a "very small proportion" of the Muslim community is turning radical, the analysis states. An estimated 25,000 to 30,000 Muslims in the Netherlands are susceptible to radical ideas. These include "2,500 to 3,000 potential radicals". Last year, the estimate was 2,500.

Ter Horst also sent the MPs the latest analysis of the terrorism threat for the Netherlands. "Internationally operating jihadist networks still include the Netherlands and its foreign interests among their preferred targets," said the report, drawn up by the national counter-terrorism coordinator NCTb. The film Fitna by MP Geert Wilders, released on 27 March, "is still the main reason for this".

"It is expected that the Netherlands will remain in focus for jihadists for the time being. The attention of jihadists is also strongly concentrated on individuals whom they hold responsible for 'insulting' Islam. These developments keep the level of threat at substantial, which means that the likelihood of an attack in the Netherlands or against Dutch interests is realistic."

One cannot honestly say who a terrorist really is......as i'm sure all of u have heard the famous quote that" one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter". Depends on which side of the picture ur looking at!

People who use suicide bombing as a weapon can be termed terrorists, but the question that arises here is what drives a man/boy to blow himself and others up? Maybe he wants his voice to be heard, maybe he is retaliating against the injustices that have happened to him and to those around him, or maybe he is just a nut-case bent upon destruction!!! And who will decide if that person is a terrorist? U? Me? I dont think so, not while we are living in a world filled with lies and deceit, where every person has an agenda of his own and every one has their own personal motive behind everything.

U cannot even label the U.S. or some other countries as terrorists as well because they are the powers that are dominating the world nowadays, the U.S. being the sole super-power......and its been quite evident from history that the powerfull will always benefit from the weak.......the name of the game is survival, and one does what one has to do to ensure it.

The days when the meek will inheret the earth are not here yet, all we can do is right now is not to label anyone a terrorist by watching what we see on t.v. How can we label anyone a terrorist when we have not looked at the real reasons behind these acts?
Once the true facts have been shown, only then can we say for sure who a terrorist really is.

Terrorist is Terrorist. Anyone kills innocent lives for there means is a coward.

If you clearly followup it comes to Islam vs Christ countries, Their diff of openions, their priorities etc. In my personal openion Christians are more organized and advanced. On the otherside muslim countries are unorganized and poor.
As per media most of the terrors are muslims (may be biased but its wat in media). Its just becoz muslims are unorganized. As long they dont get organized small peice of their group with different openion will be referred as terrors and who wins is depends on situation etc.
Pakistan has a major role in this entire issue. But its falling apart; I dont agree with pakistan politics

who so ever kills innocent ppl is a terrorist. wat happened in mumbai was terrorism, wat happened on 9/11 was terrorism, wat happened in iraq was terrorism, whats happenin in afghanistan is also terrorism. killin innocent can never be justified and also doesnt matter wat was the reason behind such an attack. killin civillians coz of the injustices done to u makes no sense. even if the war is goin on, it should only be soldier vs soldier.
