You've dominated by becoming the pre-eminent manufacturing hub of the world.

Trade is your Trump card, apart from that.. zero soft power, no allies. The good thing, from a Chinese point of view is, that you have no need for either.

Pakistan has strategic, extra friendly relationship with Turkey(brotherly too) and with China...unlike any other friendships in the world.

So this mantra of 'only interests are permanent and relationships are not constant' is not true here.
Pakistan had good friendship with China when China was considered a Pariah and a was a weak country, so is our Friendship with Turkey.

India believes in deceit and deception and transactional relations and this she will get the same in return, and vested interests too. Trust begets trust...

if definition of ally mean

• For China if war is imposed on china by India , Pakistan will jump into war as un-invited guest , or make LOC hot , that's iron brothers
• For Pakistan : if war between Pakistan and India breaks out , china will help Pakistan with immediate advance weapons , or make LAC hot - thats strategic depth

AND

• For INDIA : who will sell immediate weapons to india at time of need , or fight along with India ?

Russia --> May sell some weapons but not immediate advance weapons during war, will not fight for india
USA ----> May sell advance weaponry to India but that comes with strings attached.
France ---> No immediate help
Germany --> No help during issue
Bangladesh --> No help at all.

China didn't make the LAC hot last there was an Indo - Pak fight (Kargil)

Current LAC situation between India and China ? It could be interpreted in a few ways but I doubt Pak was part of the equation. I really don't think China did this for Pakistan's sake.

China is too big to need any allies but this was 20 years ago when china represented 1/3 of the world ..though china has gtown incredibly economically and thus have many friends and wana be friends it still doesnt has major startegic allies like USA has or russia had in warsaw pact

Russia is standing with China when it comes to taking sides between China and India.

N.Korea is firmly in China's camp, Iran now, India is thrown out from a number of deals.

Even tiny Nepal, Bhutan are supporting China, Bangladesh too.

But Pakistan-China is a special relationship...

I am forgetting Sri Lanka which is supporting China.

Actually those smaller countries around India who was in India's camp now supporting China is a bigger thing, like Nepal and B'desh.
