Calls: Bieber has been at the centre of recent controversies
The White House has issued an official response to the petition signed by 275,000 people to deport Justin Bieber saying..."we won't be commenting."

Tens of thousands of US citizens have signed the petition on the White House website since January.

It calls on President Barack Obama to revoke Bieber's green card.

The petition follows a string of controversial incidents involving the Canadian-born singer.

The first part of the White House statement said: "Thanks for your petition and your participation in We the People. Sorry to disappoint, but we won’t be commenting on this one ...

"So we'll leave it to others to comment on Mr Bieber’s case, but we’re glad you care about immigration issues. Because our current system is broken.

"Independent economists say immigration reform will grow our economy and shrink our deficits by almost $1 trillion in the next 20 years. For those of you counting at home, that’s 12.5 billion concert tickets - or 100 billion copies of Mr Bieber’s debut album."

Despite his recent controversies - of which there have been plenty - the singer has found an unlikely ally in Kelly Osbourne, who sympathises after her own quick rise to fame.

She recently said: "Even Justin Bieber, it's not fair. Because if you remember, when I was 16, all of a sudden I was one of the most famous 16-year-olds in the entire world. And it happened overnight - and there wasn't Twitter then.

"Every teenager deserves to make a mistake and act out and learn from them. And how can they learn from their mistakes if there's always somebody there trying to fix it for them and no one actually trying to help them?

"So in that situation, when it comes to Justin Bieber, I find it really unfair. I think people need to give the kid a break."

I bet he'd get more votes to get booted than the Iranian UN guy.
