No applause by us for choosing to finally defend yourselves from yourselves. You laid the conditions for such by accepting and holding high men such as Haqqani, Hekmatyar, and Omar. Blowback was inevitable among your own tribesmen when they saw how these men held ascendancy by your own gov't over their tribal leaders and government agents.

I haven't needed the latest DAILY NEWS comments to know of Haqqani's presence on your lands. Don't need them for Omar either. As sure as the sun rises in the east these men are escounced comfortably in Pakistan. That means you've acquieseced sovereignty to these men or openly aid their efforts. Maybe both.

dont really need to surrender or negoatiate with those who are already not fighting us. a possible strtegy could be that u fund them for fighting against us. not something new or is it?

Fire away. We'll see if any reach the ilk of the DAILY NEWS, whether they later retracted if so and, most importantly, their particular track-record.

Finally, can we assume that providing sancturary is a crime commensurate with 9/11? I think so when one counts the dead whom are a direct result of an externally-directed insurgency for the last eight years.

Naturally you'll retaliate with counter-claims but I then welcome the U.S. newspaper of any repute who'll assert that Israel, India, America, and Afghanistan are engaged in such and with such devastating effect to the chances of Afghanistan ever stabilizing itself.

In short, this insurgency would never have held any traction in the absence of Pakistani sanctuary. Now, either you've acquiesced these lands previously yours to the enemies of Afghanistan or you actively assist them.

Heard of him?) whom openly admit that they make war on Afghanistan from their tribal lands.

The questions asked in many western NEWSPAPERS on this matter is whether Pakistan, for all its professed concern for the stabilization of Afghanistan, will ever make war on Haqqani (read David Rohde's fascinating story of his capture, transport to Pakistan, and custody at the hands of no other than one of Haqqani's sons. He's from the NYT and you may recall reading that fascinating tale a few months ago here.), Hekmatyar, OBL (Remember him? He's the guy we supposedly let escape into Pakistan from Tora Bora. Are you as devoid of troops as us in letting OBL escape BACK into Afghanistan? Either so or he's STILL in Pakistan-correct?), and (of course) Omar?

actually no. since only the day we decided to support u in ur foolish war and the day when u started bombin our tribal areas, our tribal ppl turned against the state and the army. this means there was no such need before u guys started usin ur mind.
