You are really niave if you think politics is not involved. Why do you think US and NATO is putting so much pressure if it is "just" a weapon purchase from China. The US and Europe knows that China doesn't respect human rights and knows what is happening to uighur and tibet people.

If ur country has enough funds to pay, no doubt or reopen bid again, Turkey just choose PAC3 go ahead ~! But if u require new missile with lower price + better quality + technology transfer, Turkey need spend time to choose the desirable missile, not the most expensive. China FD-2000 is a good choose !

Tech transfer... there other options too, but we have to see if US rethinks and offers tech transfer.

Whatever about China XinJiang or Uighur, Turkey had equipped and produced China weapons. It's just a normal arms deal, not matter with political diplomatic.

It is NOT just normal arms deal, I explained it above. Turkey shouldn't betray their Turkic brothers. Even US and Europe understands this and tries to stop it. It is kind of embarrassing.
