It is possible that he wants to go down in history as the man who brought peace to India and Pakistan.

The summary of the full vid which @SecularNationalist posted is that Modi says :

1. As diplomatic protocol called for, he telephoned Imran when the latter became PM and congratulated him.

2. He told Imran that our two countries have had too much of fighting and Pakistan hasn't gained anything out of it.

3. He says that Imran has come untainted from the sporting world.

4. He told Imran that let us mutually fight against poverty, against illiteracy, against misgovernance.

5. Imran told Modi that he's the son of a Pathan, so he ( Imran ) speaks truth and speaks for justice.

6. Modi finally says that it is time to see how Imran acts on the promise he made earlier ( #5 ).

I think even the dead Osama Bin Laden and the dead Hitler have more chance to bring peace between Ind & Pakistan than this piece of ....

There's no mistake. @Areesh posted just part of the vid that made it appear that he is the son of some Pathan. Areesh basically said that Modi was the mistaken paidaaish of some Pathan.
