Which one is your favorite Bengali cuisine?

These are called Nokshi Pitha, special Bengali fried cake or you can call sweet snacks.

Its so tasty to eat with Moricher chatni (green chili paste)



This is called Paantua Pitha (Egg-paan leaf cake). Its particularly from Noakhali district of BD. My mother is from Noakhali. My father is from nearby district Laxmipur. So I get chance to taste this delicious Pitha regularly.

I haven't tasted Kakra (crab) yet. Will taste one day for sure. This is popular in west Bengal but in Bangladesh this is not eaten by majority of people since they are not sure if its halal or makruh to eat Kakra. If chingri is halal then I think Kakra is also halal.

i tasted crab last year, it is almost same as chingri LOL
 
Golda ba Bagda chingrir matha amar favorite.......... My mom cooks a fry type recipe using the head..... and with the body Malaikari....... and I love both.... :D

My mother cooks the head as curry, so delicious specially its brain :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:
