@war&peace

My bad, didn't get the tag. To be totally honest, I don't know much about the latest SUV models.

Looks like you're getting a lot of help though, so good luck in your quest.

Hi,

I would not touch a VW with a 10ft pole---.

Off course Porsche---.

Nowadays you can talk to me about Freightliners---Kenworths---Internationals---class 8 HD commercial trucks---.
@bold why?

BTW, do you know that Porche is now owned by VW and Touareg and Cayenne are based on the same chasis, engine etc except Touareg offers more in almost all areas?

I've got a 2017 Land cruiser.
Nothing bad to say about it.

But if it's among your choices, then the Audi.

If you love 1990s technology... Then... Yes... Get a land ...

It will last forever..
But the platform is archaic

Yessir---VW is a giant---.

@bold why?

Hi,

In the US---VW is always related to poor reliability and extremely expensive service for a average user's car---.

VW is completely junk; too expensive and for ever falling apart.

If you want good reliable donkey that goes anywhere.... Hilux is king. For SUV, look for Toyota Fortuner (here); or Rav4/Highlander. or even more stronger; get the Hilux double Cab. I have my Hilux double cab since 1994; over 700,000km bush km; same engine - just 2 clutch changes...

Sire..... we have VW all over the place here; it is dime a dozen. Highest depreciation value here; no resale value. You will land up paying over the price of the car in terms of failures/fixes in 10yrs. Take Golf/Polo/Tuareg/Caravelle... All suffer from the same blight. Just over engineering and cannot survive for long time. Find me a VW owner over a 10 yr period who has not had major maintenance nightmares.

I would not even take a free one if given one.

Volvo XC60.

Safety first.
Yes, but no service here for Volvos.....

Toyota all the way here... it is king of the bush.

Buy a Range Rover. Audi Qseries are soccer mom cars.

. .
Between the two, Q8.

Range Rover are known for catastrophic engine failures.

.
Go for the Volvo XC90. It's supposed to be highly rated.

Look at the prices of those cars, if you can afford to buy them, you probably don't have to worry about the price of fuel, maintenance etc. Having said that, have you considered a smaller cross over style SUV? Or do you need extra seat space?

Which SUV offer best features??

Yeah but these are the start prices ...definitely any non-EU tends to be cheaper because these are not as luxurious as the Europeans ones. But I'm not limited to these only, I'm hoping people provide more models..

You think Toyota, Lexus, Nissan etc. don't make luxurious SUVs??? Japanese vehicles are most reliable ones in market too.
