Keep crapping the thread with your idiotic posts ! I already said that land trade is good but its the sea trade which matters the most.

Me idiotics posts? says the troll...
And lets just say indian navy can't do a naval blockade. Does it automatically make you a trade hub ? what kind of retarded logic is that !

No el retardo..Our ports give the shortest n easiest access to land locked Central Asia,Afghanistan and China (tht is why the Chinese are supporting the construction of Economic corridor).
The sea trade can be monitored and modulated by India ! And the trade route through karakoram ? Huh ? just because one country builds a highway makes it a super position ?

We built the Korakoram Highway (its under going expansion as we speak).. ppl like you were ranting the same thing .. building a highway in the Korakoram.. but we did..:

Here is recent news on EC:
China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to boost economy, committee told

Pakistan has started a project, CPEC Support Project to properly monitor the projects initiated under this head in line ministries. The project will perform the role of a coordinating body for collecting and disseminating the technical and other necessary information amongst all the concerned ministries on carrying out of numerous infrastructure projects of the economic corridor with regard to improvement and modernisation of infrastructure network of the country including national highway, railways, ports and shipping, energy and other related sub-sectors projects of fiber optics, special economic, export processing and industrial zones along the corridor.

He informed the Committee all these projects were at initial stage and under finalisation process and after which each one would be placed before China and sought financial institution for assistance.
In this regard, a meeting of the Energy Joint Working Group is scheduled on August 4, 2014 in Beijing.
Member expressed serious reservations over certain projects like Nandipur, Metro Bus and Gadani and demanded details meeting next time. Dr Nafisa Shah said the government has spent Rs 60 billion and reportedly the project has been shut down. She questioned why the government was initiating power generation projects with oil base because the whole world was not doing so. She questioned what happened to our local experts because every thing was handed over to China. Responding to Dr Nafisa question, Tarar said China was funding and has the right to look into the project.
Chief Statistician Officer Asif Bajwa told the Committee holding population census was pending at Council of Common Interest meeting because Balochistan has raised some question. When the decision would be made, the Authority would become ready to hold census as most of the preparations have been completed in this regard.
The government has made 162,000 blocks each block has 200 to 280 households and needs the same number of security persons. Once these formalities completed, census will be held immediately. The due date for population census was 2008 and currently, the government delayed it for the last six years.

Think about the trade which other south east asian countries are doing .. they are also gonna grow a lot in future. Who will control their trade ? Its india !

LOL.. so are you going to stop S.E Asian states from doing business? thts an act of war..

.
again Hindutvadis confusing geography with jingoism, at least keep one thing secular guys.

Look pakistan should not even be in the option ! It is no way in a position to leverage the trade that happens. I would vote equally for turkey with india ! Both are in an enviable position.

. .
Im sure india is much richer than NATO..

P.S:Why is the indian govt asking Pak to give it route to afghanistan when you can go through chabahar (for which you will have to cross or by pass Pakistan)..
Well lets see china is developing gwadar to get a shorter route to the middle east wouldnt pakistan be acting as a passage to china also central asian states use pakistani ports

.
Hi,

With the new power struggle coming up and the resurgence of russia----it is pkistan that is on the top of the list. No other nation has been antagonized and loved by the u s as pakistan in the same 30 day period in the last 5 years----.

China wants oil pipeline from gwadar---it wants rail and road link----russai wants the same----turkey has nothing to offer anymore---india has nothing to offer----iran is a totally lost ntion in itself----saudi arabia may be a power player----but in geography---pakistan holds the key.

. .
Is there anybody here not voting for his own country?
Thats the reason why i didnt voted even though i gave a reason why i think its Turkey, kaan is the only turkish member who voted for Turkey, we would win if Indians wouldnt vote for India.

On the other hand, it shows that there are people agreeing with my view. :enjoy:

Oh yeah ? why don't u pull up some facts about the trade which happens through pakistan which doesn't originate from pakistan or terminate there ? if you can't, stop with the gateway to central asia crap ! who wants to access central asia through pakistan ? NADA no one !

Deal is in being in a position to leverage other's trade. In your case you have one road to brag about which the chinese are building .. fair enough but little johnny ..that's one country.. we are talking about controlling or mediating trade for entire east part of the globe !

.
Also pakistan is on the forefront of the war on terror the nato uses pakistani ports, pakistan is the gateway to central asian states borders india, china and sea border with the middle east

I know geography and history(invasion/migration corridors) and on the basis of which I mentioned my point; I find Indian geography cramped in traditional sense btw what has Pakistan current position has to do with its geography potentials? As I said important geography can be a bane there is a reason Pak had to/has to fight two of the most important wars post world war II; Communism and Al Qaeda.

Repeating my post

"I disagree with India, in traditional sense Indian Geography is cramped; this means that its natural land routes with other regions and hence energy corridors with other resource rich regions etc are in other countries(Pakistan, china) while its terrain is overpopulated(means energy hungry if high GDP per capita is required). But this can be changed by sea energy routes in future etc."

.
Im sure india is much richer than NATO..

P.S:Why is the indian govt asking Pak to give it route to afghanistan when you can go through chabahar (for which you will have to cross or by pass Pakistan)..

we are talking about strategic location & ur comparing India with ur master NATO

india will find other route if Pakistan don't allow us, but the question is can Pakistan afford not to allow us ;)
