Nah **** that. Life is only worth living when you're not dependent on substances to function. I give it to Zia ul Haq, when it comes to the drugs. Ban that shit and people that get caught selling should be beaten with raw leather on the streets.

Kind of. Weed/ganja is basically dried leaf. Just put it in your cigar and smoke.
Charas/Garda is basically a specific type of hash. Hash is like weed which gone through some chemical/mechanical procedure to gain a somewhat solid state.

Fair enough. My exposure has been to the urban middle and upper middle class, not going to lie about that. However u read in the news often about people dying from alcohol poisoning (once a month usually) in rural areas, and that's when it goes wrong and ends up on the news.

Man, to be honest majority of Pakistanis prefer good food over any drugs. Just my personal observation.

Oh no doubt. Not trying to argue otherwise. Just thought the figure in the OP was not accurate based on personal observation and what you read on the news. Overall of course a general Pakistani would take a good meal followed by chai any day over a night drinking.

Think about it this way. In a family of 7-10 you might find one person that is inclined to drinking, but it's not always the case. A lot of people have tried alcohol, but very few Pakistanis continue drinking in their lives.

In Pakistan there is no drinking culture except for those among the elites. Even the middle class drink only on the occasion when they want to screw prostitutes. Other than scandalous nights with working girls, you won't catch the average Pakistani trying to drink because they enjoy the feeling. When they want to do bad things with prostitutes, they will drink so they can forget about it the next day.

All come from marijuana plants however garda is extract and left in goat skin. Charas is 5 percent garda while the rest is mixtures of mehndi and pain killers. It's similar to 2 numberi some Pakistanis do with milk and water.

Weed is the purest form and can be used for medicinal purposes like curing migraine attacks,etc.
I don't encourage usage of such things but in a harsh environment they can be helpful sometimes.
