Anything is possible as long as the price and performance is acceptable

I voted for the Vixen series, not that it matters but i would love to see a mature european solution than an underdeveloped Chinese one irrespective of what anyone says but Vixen is a better suited option as compared to Chinese one.

Selex has many issues. Terrible agent (currently black listed), exorbitant NREs, out of touch with customer, arrogance, cannot sell high tech modes due to export, etc etc. Till the time they re-align, they will not get anywhere. By that time, it will be too late.

Chinese Dev plan for AESA is just like KF-X, in development and no end goal or source of funding in slight.
I highly double Lockgreed Martin will allow a third party non-ITAR AESA approved on Falcon.

I see. I wasnt aware of it sir. My point was that since PAF has worked with them in the past regarding Grifo for F-7s hence it would make sense for PAF to incorporate one of their AESA radar rather than Chinese option. There was also some news that Chinese radar lacks certain feature compared to Vixen but i dont remember what it was.

I'm surprised ghar KLJ-7A has received 52 votes while the Vixen couldn't even muster 20 votes even though it is apparently a better radar with the added feature of a built-in IRST sensor. Wonder why? o_O

Plus along with
Skyward,
Airborne and Space Systems Division’s SkyWard system offers state-of-the-art capabilities in Infrared Search and Track (IRST). SkyWard is a product of Airborne and Space Systems Division’s extensive experience in the field of IRST for airborne and naval systems and is the latest addition to the Company’s proven record in delivering innovative technology to Customers.

Britecloud ECM decoys,
We also need Britecloud ECM decoys, it is a unique system in that while it is expendable, the BriteCloud is a self-contained digital radio frequency memory (DRFM)-based pod meant for countering radar-guided air-to-air missiles (AAM) and surface-to-air missiles (SAM). The BriteCloud was designed to be deployed from a standard chaff and flare system, the integration to which requires minimal integration work. The BriteCloud has a shelf-life of five years. When we have complete package of it JF17 response time will be greatly enhance. KJL-2 just give us Radar. But this package will make JF17 a beast and complete solution.

Elettronica ELT-568
,providing digital radio-frequency memory (DRFM) active jamming and E-J band frequency coverage.
