Where are we heading towards >?

My dear friends...........

I have been visitin various forums for years, if u count the years they are not far from a decade, what iam trying to do is find some answers. I am looking for Those answers which were never born or thought with a logical mind.

I would be suprised if i find any answers for the questions i have but still i thought ill try.

Here it is!!!! as the topic being India & Pakistan i thought ill put them on world affairs (mods feel free to move this thread anywhere you wish or even to delete it - if you find it to be unworth.

As a human being i always wondered why India & Pakistan have to fight ????? is it cuz of Kashmir ? or is it because of Religion ?

Well my questions are............

1) Pakistan says it wants kashmir to be part of it - cuz an agreement was made during parition..... (will not go deepere into the agreement as it is past)

2) Pakistan holds half of kashmir so does India........

3) India won't leave the part of kashmir it has but claims other half from pakistan, Vice a Versa.....

4) Everyone knows neither pakistan nor india can snatch the other half from others..... (tried and tested but resulted in failure)

5) Is the struggle will go on till eternity ???? for God sake Human beings are dieing both sides..........

6) Is it the only option when both can have peace but still derive the benefits in the terms of co-operation, peace & mututal trust ???

7) Pakistan says it is up for friendship but India does not want friendship -- but does Kargil with strong peace process on the way ???

Why is that we fail to understand it is all about a piece of land where we would be buried/creamted when we die ? no one is immortal, are they any immortals here ???

If we are not immortals why the fcuk we can forget wht was agreed in 1947 during partition and live our lives peacefully ???

Why the Fcuk we can't show the world we are equal if not better than them ?????

Why the Fcuk we can't grow up and give our populace what they deserve, food, health, education & a good life style ?

Why the Fcuk do we have to be called a 3rd world when we are billion times better when it comes to respect elders, care for our children & most important Culture ??????

Do we want to score a self goal even after knowing we get to live our life only once ?????

I'm sad that your post did not get any replies. I think the simple truth is that humans (in a bizarre way) get a secret thrill out of belligerence. While so many pay lip service to peace and brotherhood, deep-down, the notion of a scrap excites them.

When a fist fight breaks out in a street, a huge crowd immediately gathers to watch. You can bet that many of them are enjoying the scene thoroughly.

But then according to your post some terms like Sovereignity,Honor,Territorial Integrity and even the word Military becomes redundant.

The trick is to channel this energy in positive directions. The entire human effort is built around this energy. With it, empires have been created, empires been destroyed and replaced by more prosperous ones then in the past. In a modern context, if there is "belligerence" in business then competitiveness improves. If there is competition in science/tech research rapid progresses are made. If that doesn't work then arrange a cricket match (for South Asians) or dramatic wrestling matches (for Americans)
