Its Astonishable to read that Provinces which have no chance of falling in Pakistan's Map like Madras, Bombay & Orrissa gave 100% Muslim seats to ML....WOW!!

But we are not a Superpower razia.
We are a poor, developing country. When we don't intervene to protect Hindus, Sikhs and Shias in Pakistan, why should we do the same in Myanmar.
We should be concerned about our own country and not interfere in the national affairs of another. We have taken on a number of Rohingya refugees, that should be the total extent of our support to these people.

If Pakistan is willing to take all the Rohingya refugees, I am sure India will provide the ship lift facilities of these people from Myanmar to Pakistan as a good will gesture. @Horus , I suggest you start a petition to your government for this. We would be happy to help relocate all the Rohingyas to Pakistan as humanitarian service.

Refugees are one good reason to initiate a dialogue on the issue. We have had refugees from Tibet, Lanka, Myanmar, Afghanistan, illegal migrants from Bangladesh and pakistani hindu visitors refusing to return to pakistan. All these provide India sufficient ground to talk on these issues and reasons thereof. Unfortunately with China on Tibet issue and with Pakistan on any issue, we have shut the doors for dialogue due to our policies. But it clearly shows that we got to be interested in these neighbouring countries as to what happens there that affects India. BD talking to Myanar on Rohingyas may not bring any result but if India takes up the matter it can be resolved or status quo maintained. Remember if again such violence erupts, these rohingyas will not go to BD but come to India which is not good for our security as these refugees will be vulnerable to radicals. Pakistan and other muslim nations will do only lip service in the name of Islam but affected parties are only India and Bangladesh. They are not even accepting Bihari muslims how will they take rohingyas. Arabs are not willing to take palestianians who speak arabic, how will they accept rohingyas. It is our political problem and not a religious problem.

We are not the US, we dont aspire to be the US. We dont wish to bring democracy and human rights or whatever to other countries. The other countries also have human beings of intelligence, they can manage their own affairs. If they cant - then that is their problem.

We have nothing to do with them and for them. We only interfere when India gets affected. So far India is not affected barring some 10 -15 thousand refugees. We have stopped any more from coming over.

India will without a doubt provide humanitarian support in the form of ship lift facilities to rohingyas should any country like Pakistan or etc who wish to take them in.

I cant help you if you have limited analytical skills. There were lakhs of muslims who migrated to east and west pakistan. secondly the one who scores the maximum votes is considered winner. ML did not secure all the votes but they were a majority of the muslims. I see the other way that ML lost on 63 seats. Also at that time muslims education was pathetically low and not much clarity was there on Pakistan. If they were told what would be the map of Pakistan, and that the muslims shall be required to leave their motherland for Pakistan, I am sure ML would have lost all the seats in South India and sizeable number of seats in the rest of India that of post 1947. But no point talking about all that, you can not undo the history. You can not force another partition on India. We area democratic secular country and we are all proud about it.

I request you to support and express solidarity with any people displaced or oppressed based on ANY religion ANY where. If you only want to be concerned about people of YOUR religion that too in a country you have beef with, it sounds more political than humanitarian. and in any political issues, other countries choose to react depending on their political priorities.

2. For us S Arabia is similar to, but not same as, Vatican to Christians. Fyi, India's neighbor Bhutan doe snot allow any other religion to be practiced in the kingdom. Indian Army organizes temples, mosques,gurdowaras and church inside their cantonments in that country.
