Theoretically it's easier to handle 2 smaller enemies than one bigger one.. Also, most Indians do not consider BD as an enemy and the current stance of BD govt is very pro India both economically and security cooperation wise.

But i firmly believe that a passive enemy like BD is can pose more security challenge than a active enemy with a face like Pak...In the long run i feel a stronger and self reliant Pakistan can be a good friend( or neutral like not a friend nor an enemy) rather that BD...

A question of strategic importance


What did India get by carving out Bangladesh with no strategic gains in mind. It is much like the empty brained atal bihari vajpaye othering indian millitary to mobilise and lost 700+ soldiers for no reason. Indias moves completely destabilized asia and encouraged Pakistan to be a part of Afganistan fiasco, dissolution of USSR and today's unstable situation of Asia. Which only affirms the belief that India is a unstable and fragile country which could set fire to whole region which its twisted hegemonic ambitions!
