That despite numerical and technological superiority, they were only able to take back 2/8 peaks during the initial conflict and took back another 2 during the skirmishes during 2000. You gloat about Nawaz Sharif, a corrupt POS who claimed to have no knowledge of the war, but somehow managed to form a list of casualties out of the blue. Someone that has no spine. Whereas on the battlefield, where the war was actually being fought, the one that lamented was the Indian military. It was your commander Aul that wanted the ceasefire. It was your commander Aul that betrayed that same ceasefire to try and catch Pakistan off guard. It was your army that was unable to take back the peaks and complete operation vijay. It was your air force that was ineffective so it had to run to Israel for high level bombing training and even then still unable to take back most of the peaks.

Not my fault your military failed against 5000 NLI, who were paramilitary at the time.

Yes it was a surprise so much so that Pakistan which was planning to occupy a few hilly outposts captured a lot of them. The plan was known by just 4 people in Pakistan not even your PM.
Do you know that what the plan was? Pakistan thought Indians won't retaliate much and think it was local Kashmir fighters and that not many weapons would be effective at that altitude. Also if India retaliates on other front and moves forces Kashmir could be taken by Pakistani soldiers.
Bofors and aircraft runs destroyed the outposts. Pakistan couldn't resupply or use the air force or other divisions as it was officially not in India and your air force commander was told of the operation pretty late.
In the end Pakistan lost both domestically and internationally on the Kashmiri problem.

Since you are here to learn, you should pay attention to subject. As mentioned in the OP, General Musharaf visited before the operation commenced.

Col (retd) Ashfaq Hussain, who was a senior officer in the Pakistan Army's media arm, said Musharraf flew across the LoC on March 28, 1999 and travelled 11 km into the Indian side.

read about what actually happened, Sharif went to the US to ask for a ceasefire and US refused as by then the world knew that Pakistani infantrymen not local fighters had infiltrated and occupied Indian posts.
US becoming pro India is an after effect of the war.
