Mongolia is independent state now. Mongolia ruled China with Yuan Dynasty.
Manchu ruled China with Qin Dynasty.
Britain ruled Hongkong.
Japan ruled huge area of China until Japan defeated by Soviet and US armies in WWII.

Vietnam and China was ruled by foreigner invaders. Both shared same bitter histories.

No doubt that Inner Mongolia and Manchuria today are parts of China.

one deadly strike to a country like india if they mess around in the south china sea will send a clear message to india, vietnam, philippines, japan, etc.
