When can Russia and Ukraine reestablish good relations?

Yes, we are indigenous to the Crimean Peninsula.
No you are not(provided you are actually has a tatar origin which I doubt)
Crimea was and will always be a part of Russia. So USA and EU and their slaves in Kiev are free to keep talking their nonsense and live in their alternative reality.Meanwhile in real world Ukraine needs much more money than initial 17 billions USD and none neither has nor want to give such amount to thieves in Kiev. Also EU is begging Russia not to ask for those 3 billions USD credit line. Also Gazprom has already laid claims at significant part of what is left from Ukraine gas reserves(which belongs to Firtash who has debts to repay to Gazprombank).Another news-all those millions of illegal working Ukrainians soon might have a serious problems in Russia as soon as 2015.Their presence will not be tolerated as before-you wanna work in Russia ?Sure go ahead and apply legally.Only 400 000 from 6 milions Ukrainians working in Russia have legal right with invitation, working permit, contract etc, rest are illegal.
Federalization of country, official status of Russian language, prosecusation of the likes Right Sector/Azov/Aidar etc Western friends are good things to do in order to improve relations with Russia which btw Ukraine has no intention to do.Currently USA has full control over what is left of Ukraine. And joke in Russian language sites is - USA has intention to fight with Russia ... to the last of Ukrainians.

Everything was just beginning to improve, when the West and the crowd of fools arranged maidan. Only the city Nikolaev should get $ 5 billion in orders for our shipyards. Profits were to be spent on modernization of shipyards and the city.
But, damn West and the crowd of idiots arranged maidan and now we will never see the money and our once glorious Russian and Soviet shipyards will be closed soon. Moreover - prices increased by 2 times and we are 2 times poorer than before the maidan. And that's only the beginning of "European integration" ...

to answer the question, No, there woukd never be a "good" relation between Ukraine and Russia ever again.

Asked one of my firriend.who worked for Ukraine News service as a political correspondent, the moment Russia annex crimea is the moment the Ukraine and Russia relation dies. From now on the Ukraine government and the remaining Ukraine citizen would never to trust Russian again. Effectively the Russian gain on Crimea and lost the whole ukraine.

The day Ukraine can have a normal relation with Russia would be when Russia declare a total war on Ukraine and try to occupy ukraine. Then there maybe a chance, or any of you honestly think the Ukrainian would simply say " Yeah Russia, you beat us fair and square and we will forget aboht it and vote for a pro-russian government in the future?"

That may be not be the case. Unlike Georgian which is totally different from Russian, Ukrainian and Russian are very close, essentially different dialects. Plus, all Ukrainians can speak Russian fluently. One day, a pro Russian Ukrainian government would be elected again, just like Yanukovych was.

First of all, not ALL Ukrainian can speak Russian, according to last census, only about 52 to 55% spoke Russian. And that was before Crimea broke out, so half of those Russian Speaking Ukrainian does not live in Ukraine anymore.

Secomdly Russian and Ukrainian IS NOT very close, to say they are very close is to say any former warsaw pact country very close to Russia

Infact, only Ukrainian understand Russian, as most Ukrainian Learn some degree of Russian during CCCP era, but Russian cannot understand Ukrainian if they are not speaking Russian.

I dont know where you live your dream, but Pro-Russian Ukraine arw long gone, it was gone when Crimea was annexed by Russia

And even now the eastern front are in stalmate, and Russia cannot unconditionally support the rebel while they are selling gas back to Ukraine (not just the rebel held region) somebody got to pay for war and i very much doubt Russian want to finance the insurgence forever, when ruble is now as good as toilet paper.

So, i dont kbow abour your dream, bur that would not ever happen again. And thats from one of my ukraine friend who actually lives in Ukraine

That's % of Ukrainian as native language. Russian is so similar to Ukrainian that if one knows Ukrainian, one can learn Russian just by watching TV, and vice versa. For example, thank you is sbasibi in Ukrainian and sbasibo in Russian. Most Ukrainians are bilingual in Ukrainian and Russian.

@Superboy

maybe you should not comment on a region you knows nothing about, last time around you say serbia is very close to Russia and never going to be in western camp, infact they just applied for EU membership..

Now you said all Ukraine spoke russian fluently and that Ukraine is very close to Russia....Do you even know where Ukraine is ? Can you name 3 other countries border Ukraine beside Russia?

Ukraine is getting military and economical aid from Western Countries which would let Ukrainians to expand themselves in Western Europe and access technology as well as changing the living standards.

One after another Eastern European nations are being developed and are made more aware of the technology. Even Russian citizens are moving into Western Europe and United states in large numbers.

I laugh out so loud and woke my wife seeing the bold part...

You do know Ukrainian IS the official language in Ukraine right? The % of Ukrainian speaking Ukrainian is almost touching 100%. Asidr of some % that are illiterate and had not gone to school.

Do you even know how and why Ukrainian comes to speak Russian? Most of them are Russian immigrant and their native tounge is Russian. The other learn to speak Russian during CCCP era. When both Ukrainian and Russian are taught in school.

Now on to hard facts the 2001 Ukraine census

Всеукраїнський перепис населення 2001 | English version | Results | General results of the census | Linguistic composition of the population:

Of the population 29.6% of Ukrainian have declare their mother tounge as Russian. If you put in other ethnic group that also speak russian (Ukrainian, Belrussian and so on) It would add up to abour 50% and that was in 2008 and heck a lot of those are living in Crimea and the Eastern region. This would at least Cut by half if a cenausis done in 2014.

And you just use a single word abd you meant ro tell me they are similar ? Dude, Tack is thanks in Swedish and Ta is slang in English, should I also say English and Swedish is a similar language?

It is very easy to learn Russian if you know Ukrainian. On the contrary, Polish is very different from Ukrainian. Most Ukrainians speak Russian because Russia has the most border with Ukraine and millions of Ukrainians illegally work in Russia because Russia is rich and Ukraine is poor, although that ends on January 1.

The 2001 census was not accurate because until Yanukovych came into power and allowed Russian to be official language regionally in the east and the south, Russian speakers were persecuted and therefore many did not designate their native language as Russian. In 2012, 40% of Ukrainians designated their native language as Russian.

Russian language in Ukraine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

French is overwhelmingly the native language in Quebec, despite hundreds of years of English rule after England annexed Quebec from France in the 1700s. Eastern and southern Ukraine were part of Russia until Communists assigned them to Ukraine SSR in the 1920s. So you can imagine native speakers of Russian in Ukraine are in fact Russians rather than Ukrainians.

First of all, what you said originally is "All Ukrainian can speak Russian Fluently" Now i would have accept this " All Ukrainian speaks some degree of Russian" even tho that too is far from truth but to say all Ukrainian speak fluent Russian is simply, false

Most Ukrainian have or had learn Russian one way or another, that does not mean they are fluent in Russian. I can tell you this, English is an official language of Hong Kong and each student must learn English from Primary School to Secondary school, does that mean all of Hong Konger "Fluent" in English?

Learning a language is one thing, getting them fluent is another. If you say its fluent then you are either native with that language or you are studying in an advance level. Being official language or studied them somehow does not mean you are fluent with that language

Secondly, i would not say Russian is rich and Ukraine is poor, let alone if that is areason that you claim all, not most, Ukrainian spoke Russian. That have no corelation. A lot of Mexican illegally enter the US for work, because Mexico is poor and US is rich, then can I go ahead and say because of that, ALL MEXICAN ARE FLUENT IN ENGLISH? lol

Thirdly, if it is what you said that Russian speaker is oppressed, then we would see a general % of misrepresentation across all the Russian Speaker Group. If I were to oppress, do you know which single group i would have gone for first? I would have oppress the ethnic russian. However you can see Ethnic Russia have not been oppressed as 96% claim their mother tounge is Russian. Then something I do not understand, why would you go oppress the russian speaker but decided to let go the biggest Russian Speaking group? lol what you are saying does not make sense.

By the way, you do not have any point that can be verified by hard facts, the only point you quote by wikipedia is that 40% of Ukrainian having Russian as mother tounge, which was actually what i said in the begining, about 50 precents of Ukrainian are fluent with Russian and would be a lot less now.

Most of Ukrainians who designate Ukrainian as their native language typically speak Russian at home and on the streets, because Russian is simply a more elegant language than Ukrainian which borrowed a lot of words from Polish and Lithuanian during the occupation era.

Do you speak Russian (Not just some random word) or Ukrainian? I can tell you this, i learnt to speak Ukrainian and lived in kiev for about 9 months with my then Ukrainian Girl Friend. I can tell you this. Nobody speak Russian at home or outside, unlesa you are ethnic Russian.

And your "Because Russian is more Elegent " argument is directly opposite to your former comment that " Ukrainian and Russian are similar language" If they are similar to each other, then can you tell me how one is more elegent then the other?

You do know you can only either be similiar then they would both be elegent or they are not similar hence one can be more elegent than the other, but you cant be both.

Its like saying a butterflies is similiar to flies but butterflies are more elegent or beautiful than normal fruit flies. Dude, the only similarity both shared is that they both are insect, nothing more.

Dude, did you even think before you say anything?
