Busss yaaar Khuda kareii that peace is restored to Baluchistan ! :(

So where do the Makrani Baloch stand on the whole Azad Baluchistan issue ? :undecided:

Inshallah

Azad Baluchistan definately includes Makoran coast and Gwadar so the separtists need us but I think the opinions vary from person to person but many want to remain in Pakistan, even my uncle who was in Royal Omani Police loves Pakistan and is happy every time he meets a Pakistani person in Oman.

These are clearly dardic/nuristani people that have been assimilated among nomadic gujjars of the area. Because either they are real gujjars or pakistani/indian gujjars are real gujjars. Two different races cannot be of the same origin. There must be something wrong with nomenclature of gujjars in afghanistan. I have done some research on different "gujjars" on google images and the result is clear, the ones from india look like typical indian, the ones from punjab look like punjabis , the ones from kashmir look like kashmiris and the ones from afghanistan look like other afghans. I think people herding cattle and other animals belonging to different races are referred as gujjars in different parts of south and central asia.

They are not different races , they have a common origin .

A 2009 study conducted by Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation, under the supervision of Gurjar scholar Javaid Rahi, claimed that the word "Gojar" has a Central Asian Turkic origin, written in romanized Turkish as Göçer. Study claimed that according to the new research, the Gurjar race "remained one of the most vibrant identity of Central Asia in BC era and later ruled over many princely states in northern India for hundred of years".[21]

Pakistani and Muslim only

Father/Generations were/are all Sheikh... Business community... Every one of my relative and distant relatives are doing some sort of business in Pakistan and UK... I don't really believe in baradari system but it is also truth that I have seen people of my community doing welfare work all over my city.. probably not seen any other baradari doing so much for it's people... if not for all.. at least some people are beneficiaries of Baradari system.

We even have an amazing graveyard for Sheikh community... Never seen such a maintained, tidy graveyard anywhere else in Pakistan.. Usually the people of our baradari are buried there and non-Sheikh are buried in the adjoining graveyard (technically part of the same graveyard but cordoned off). Our own welfare society.. free hospitals.. welfare programs.. charity organisation... so many things to name..
