Whats Wrong with ISPR Press release emphasizing "BETTER GOVERNANCE" from Political Leadership

Without any prior discussion dismiss him, seems very sneaky. He could not work with Kakar, Asif Nawaz, Jehangir Karamat, Musharf, Cheif Justice, Ghulam Ishaq, Leghari, Chaudry Shujaat and many more. There is aproblem with Nawaz and he doesnot know how to use his authority. Is there something called good governace? Or you will hide behind that paper called constitution written by feudal lords?

We talking about the law and what it says. You may disagree with the decision, but legally speaking, a valid exercise of authority needs to meet the test of the law.

Is there room for improvement in governance? Sure there is but statements like these bring instability in system. These are the kind of suggestions ya wanna discuss privately. When ya come out in open, people speculate and speculate thoroughly even to the extent of a co'up hence destroying Foreign and Local investor's trust in the market.
Maybe Army is tired of telling him in private. Maybe they are tired of him protecting crimals in Sind namely PPP and MQM leadership, maybe they are tired of him making deals with Punjabi terrorists?

Ofcourse it was legal and I am no way on earth denying that, but don't you agree that preventing army chief to land on ground is legal?

Sir, if that order was legal, the General was no longer the COAS from that point onwards. It was his choice to get back to Karachi, and he had already made the decision to engage in illegal acts from that point onward.

phir wohi dhaak k teen path?

Orders are not just given like that, procedures are sophisticated.
Again,my question remains, why was he prevented to land at karachi airport, damn it?

Sir, if you look at the process on Oct 12, it was all correct from a legal point. A new COAS was appointed. Why did the General disobey that order in the first place to create the situation in Karachi a few hours later?

It has to be a team effort from all sides, if the nation is to progress. We are all in it, together.

Please read my signature and try to respond to what I say, not who or where I am.
Calling all army thugs or looters and cannot take personal comment, say that what you said in the posts to a brother or father of a Soldier (officer or non officer) who has lost life or limbs in the call of duty and then we will see what will happens to the signature!

Sir, any Army officer or jawan who performs his sworn and legal duty deserves, and has, my utmost respect. When the Army does illegal acts, then it does not deserve any respect and should be called out.

I think u are too entangled in constitution; which no body follows ... our politicians violate it for personal gain and trying to build a dynasty....

Army violates it in national interests most of time ( both zia and musharaf were absolutely right to act as consequences of non action were grave) and in reaction to situations created by corrupt political diaspora...

Only word of GOD is muqadas....and after that are people of pakistan..
Constitution is a batch of man made laws that can be disposed off if its not serving the above 2

Why do you think I wrote "Eight Good People"? Any nation where nobody follows the law is a hellhole for its citizenry.

My respected friend,if new COAS was given charge immediately, then Musharraf won't be in a situation to impose and react like that, things don't look as simple and diluted as you are trying to show.
You think that army institution is ''lala land'' that retired COAS would use powers like that?:woot:

Phir wohi baat,PCR kerni hai..kyun kerni hai?bus kerni hai!

Sir, the law is pretty clear. The basic illegality remains General Musharraf's refusal to obey a lawful order from his superior, unless you can somehow prove that wrong.

First, you prove it to me that Nawaz was right to harbor conspiracy against COAS to die at airplane.First you prove it to me that Nawaz is a corruption free man.Prove it!

Sir, all that comes later. You have accepted the the decision to appoint a new COAS was a valid and legal exercise of authority by the PM. From that point onwards, the General's actions were illegal and criminal, from a legal standpoint.
