Seriously i have the feeling many indian airlines are not able to do their business properly.

4 times last year fighter jets had to take off to escort indian airliners who did not contact flight control, when entering european airspace.

Now we must read here that a flight London to India had an extreme case. The co-pilot started to beat the female Pilot. She left the cockpit in tears. Passengers were baffeled.

Crew pleaded to her to return. When she went back into cockpit she was attacked from copilot again and left...

Now she did not return. And the co pilot also left to discuss with her.

The aircraft than did fly several minutes without anyone in the cockpit.

Are indians are aware that after the last 4 incidents the european comission thinks about putting those indian airlines on black list?

It would be a god send gift if all countries ban Air India. At least this would force the government of India to use it as an excuse to close the shop.

Do it man...Airindia is just another cash cow at the expense of Indian Tax payer money...

Valerio, the problem is that the Indian aviation industry is growing so fast that it’s really hard to find enough trained pilots. Their salaries have gone through the roof....tripled and quadrupled in just a few years. And airlines put up with all kinds of bad behavior on their part in the hopes that they stay on and don’t leave for some rival airline.

The female pilot should have slapped him back, but I guess she didn’t have the nerve to do it.
Older really experienced pilots are like diamonds nowadays. A rare find.

in my opinion she should have called an emergency and return to airport and let him arrested.

@Śakra : Please explain this behaviour from Indian males?

Yeah. That would have been even better.

Crying shrying is a waste of time.

I guess she was also thinking of her future career in the airline...etc

I hope that the airline deals strictly with this guy. He should at the least be fired. No ifs and but’s about it....I doubt that will happen....some compromise will be found....apologies....we need a revolution here...truly!

. . . .
Show another example in the whole world of this behaviour on an airline.

Start googling and good luck!
As I said ONE person did this.

What’s so hard to understand?

One Bengali has gas so all are gassy?

. . .
I found one. In 2009...in Air India xD
Grow up dude !

See delta airlines July 2017 pilot and air hostess got in a fight and delayed take off for two hours.

Again delta airlines April 2017 pilot and a passsanger gets into fisticuffs an had to be escorted off the plane.

It happens !

Human beings behaving badly!

Oh and it appears that this guy’s pilot license has now been revoked, so no more flying for him .
