Probably met a Pakistani for the fist time in his life, the driver realizes he is Indian, the driver gets a call in the middle of the drive, takes a big detour into a ghetto without mentioning the purpose - yeah...he had the ingredients to be scared but I agree that he went overboard.

While on an international project I met a number of Pakistanis who were working for the Company we were doing a project for.

They turned out to be among the best friends I made . Even went to their homes for dinner to their home a number of times, took them out too.

As far a cab drivers go , the equation changes immediately when its a Pak & Indian affair. A sense of warmth comes in parting as friends . Usually with tips on what not to do in the new city.

Many Pakistanis are giving too much credit to Bollywood and/or their print/electronic media than it is due. Hatred for Muslims in general and Pakistanis in particular is hardwired into the genome these people thanks to them being subject of so-called Muslim rulers for some 900 years. If an Indian is born on Mars and without a father or mother and you seek his opinion about Pakistan and Muslims, it will still be negative.

The concept of countries came into existence from the 1940's for many...there aren't any Indians alive who have seen this so called 200 odd years of muslim domination. .there's thousands of years of history to the region and to the world before the muslim...also after the formation of the nation a true national identity with a true combined fate has linked together..now, there is no muslim invader or country in the whole world who can even dream of running the so called muslim domination of India or for that matter any major non Muslim country...

But there isn't a Muslim "invader" who can climb on his camel and drive his Lashkar to conquer a major nation like US, Europe, Israel, Russia, India, China, Japan, Australia, Japan etc...before he takes a few steps with his horde .....the land which he walked out from will be a nuclear wasteland and his Lashkar will turn into a pile of human waste.

So what this muslim domination is left with is to fight among themselves because that's all they are left with...and that too with weapons and in most cases funds that are provided by the non Muslim Nations.

NS coming to the ceremony means nothing. It means less than zero.

A ceremony is only to create the mood, what happens there after is what matters. NS dropped the ball and the rest is history.
