Pakistan is not some sub-saharan african country as your are trying to paint it, most poor do have both power and gas connection in most areas of Pakistan where these facilities are available.

None in my village have power or gas..come to kpk, go to rural sindh punjab or Baluchistan

When it comes to health we are behind sub shara

Official statistics are 75% don't have gas and 25% no power

Called boom and bust cycle due to political cashing of final years of cycle because thats what gets you reelected because thats WHAT EDUCATED PEOPLE WANT۔۔۔
To summmarize this in simplest possible way

"Result of high fiscal deficit, state bank lending (printing notes), and low saving(due to artificially low interest)..such policies will give you boom due to govt spending ( printing notes, high captial due to loans/deficit & low interest) but will always result in bust (when printing notes & low saving effects kicks in)which is bigger than the boom..third consecutive time PMLN did this in 1990s, 1998 & 2018..let see whether they will do it again in 2028..."

too expensive, even the developed countries (France, Germany etc.) have a very limited capability to produce SMDs in house, most import from East Asia(including US based companies like Xilinx).

The only way forward for Pakistan would have been fabless design, and source the chips from TSMC or elsewhere. it is still not too late to train manpower in ASIC design (use cadence or mentor graphics toolchain). introduce courses on unis focusing on IC design, establish companies that offer design services to western countries, and then move to in house R&D as well. need to follow the IT model in this case. and at the same time set up SMT assembly lines, and PCB fabrication facilities (cheaper option as compared to semiconductor foundries)

US Aid was less than the amount spent on military operations

Cost of military operations of this scale was probably 30+ billion dollars (vs around 400b$ of Afghanistan operations) while Pakistan barely received 18b$ of the approved 33b $..while some aid via kerry logger bill did went through(around 4b) but that's is negligible ..infact india might have gotren more aid via USAID than Pakistan
