I read somewhere that Qaid e Azam wanted a military defense pact but Nehru said no.

That was Khan Liaquat Ali Khan, 1954. Nehru said that Pakistan must forfeit it's claim to Kashmir for the pact to take effect, there as some negotiation but Nehru refused to budge. The pact remained open but was withdrawn after the 65 war.

I would love to see indo-Pak Military Alliance but i guess that is not happening at least not in my lifetime.

You want it,I want it.Every sane person on this sub continent want this to happen.But its not definitely for the best interest for some people from the ruling class on both sides and the west. So keep praying.

Maybe you are right also in 1962 supposedly Shah of Iran asked Ayub Khan to help India from China and he said "us not attacking India right now is plenty of help".

What is possible is the three countries signing a no attack treaty for 10 years with no interference in internal matters including j&k, with option to renew at the end of the treaty. That is better than fighting for decades with no gains.

MUSHARAF IS MAIN PROBLEM OF PAKISTAN HE MADE ALL FAULTY DECISIONS.I THINK PAK ALSO HAS CORRUPTION.

He was right . There was a thought of rewarding pakistan with some portions of kashmir for that. A committee was setup to identify the ares. But it did not go further.

Pakistan was a economic powerhouse during his time, we were politically at a more advantageous position, we were enjoying better relations with India for the first time after 1965. It was pretty good.......Yeah, we have plenty of corruption too.....
