Afghanistan has indirectly led to the rapid decline of the US as a power, thousands of lives lost, trillions of dolloars wasted and an armed forces that is becoming increasingly reliant on older platforms at the expense of new equipment. Covid has also taken it's toll.
Of course US will win any confrontation with Pakistan, but the cost will make Iraq and Afghanistan look like peanuts.
Any country that hosts bases will be the automatic target of Pak missiles as will all US forces in the region. US will win but the cost and loss of lives and manpower will finish it as a Super Power.
You can easily expect some losses in ships and aircraft from Pak forces and ground losses will be massive.
