India will

1. achieve 100% literacy rates.

2. With the dwindling political turmoil in the ME, the low oil prices will continue to give its economy a much needed refreshing breath. With hybrid technology coming in, its dependency on crude oil will also decrease.

3. With the long pending Land acquisition bill coming, it will attract a lot more foreign companies than it did in the last decade.It will become a major manufacturing hub, if not the largest one.

4. It has already resolved its border disputes with Bangladesh. Major road blocks regarding delimiting the Eastern border will probably remain as a status quo; however the business with the Chinese will only swell.

5. With Bangladesh and Sri Lanka being other two substantial economic power in its neighbor, people to people interaction between these two will increase. India-Bangladesh-Myanmar border zone will be a major trading hub, bringing South East nations coming close to the Indian Sub continent.

6. India, though its populations growth declines, will be struggling to improve poverty and deplorable conditions of basic health sector. Its economic boom had very little effect on these two and there is little scope to wish better.

7. Space research will off course reach a new height. I will not be surprised, if with the Chinese collaborating with ISRO this region becomes the center for cheap space tourism.

8. It will be a major center for medical tourism and will continue to attract people all over ME and South East Asia.

There are many other possibilities that could happen in the next hundred years, but so far these seem to have best chance to come into reality.

• There will be daily flights from planet earth to moon
• The world might be starving for lack of sweet water if we did not take any action today / Most nations would be drinking sea water by then
• Personal robot for everybody
• New sex toys will be invented, po*n industry will have progressed most after 100 years
• The tallest building in the world would be located somewhere in South Asia or China
• China would have been the first nation to reach economy of 100 trillion dollars and would have gdp of over 250 trillion dollars
• Pakistan will be amongst the 10 richest nations in the world
• There will no monarchy in Saudi Arabia
• There will finally be bullet train in Pakistan and the whole world would have been connected through rail passing through Pakistan, India and China
• LCA Tejas Mark III would still be under development

Nope, probably not. Relations between the two will never become that close, having said that, the relationship will be more like the UK and Germany. Regional rivals, and opposing forces within the SAARC, while having a workable relationship built on trade and geopolitics.

No way lol, India's size and population will allow it to be stronger than Pakistan. This is a hard truth for Pakistanis to swallow but it is the future. Pakistanis must strive for the betterment of the future generation rather than petty wars and conflicts. India is 2nd largest country. The U.S. is superior, yes, but that is because it did not have to go through the years of colonialism that China or India went through. The U.S. always had quite a strong manufacturing base since the 13 colonies era as well. US being the strongest may have been the trend for 200 years, but that is set to change, and has probably already changed. Even if 20% of India or China's population becomes an educated work force they will surpass the United States.

Buddy, a lot of things change in 100 years. Pakistan WILL NOT survive like this, hiding behind nukes for its survival. India's defense budget is rising each year and there will come a day where Indian defense budget is the size of Pakistan GDP. What will Pakistan do then? The best thing for Pakistan to do is quit the army and become a pacifist nation like Canada, Japan, or South Korea. Soft power!!

But, I guess our great great grandkids will have to see how it all turns out. Will there even be a world in the next 100 years? Who knows.
