No replacement plan by US for ISS after 2024.

. .
I think that in all probability the station support structure and budget will be extended to 2028. It is not the first time that this would happen of course.

Or they simply BUY a SpaceX Starship. Not sure why the narrator didn’t think of that. Heck they should buy 4 with a connector in the middle. As the narrator said just one Starship exceeds the living area of the entire ISS.

Becos space X is not a sure deal and operating space station is not same as firing a rocket with cargo that comfirms profit. Space X needs to pump out billions of dollar from their own pocket before finding a real customers who used their facilities. NASA is broke.. No joke! Unless US is willing to sacriface a few CVN. If not funding will never come.

Worst of all, JAXA, ESA and ROSCOMOS are all attracted to CSA space station becos we offer zero cost operating fee for them except that they need to share any research result with China. A free deal vs a paid deal, who will you pick? I dont think we need a genius to tell you that.

This make NASA space station even more deprived of more foreign funding. 2024 dead ending for ISS is sure.

World is not ready to believe communist China yet.

LOL.. China is the most capitalist economy. Money attract allies. Ask Europe to pay to believe vs free ride to join. Which will they choose?

https://www.esa.int/ESA_Multimedia/Videos/2017/09/ESA_and_Chinese_astronauts_train_together2

ESA astronauts Samantha Cristoforetti and Matthias Maurer joined Chinese astronauts earlier this month for nine days of sea survival training off China’s coastal city of Yantai.

This is the first time ESA astronauts have trained in China and stems from the 2015 agreement to boost collaboration between ESA and China Manned Space Agency, with the goal of flying European astronauts on the Chinese space station from 2022.

This video, filmed by the Astronaut Center of China, shows the first joint training, with interviews of ESA participants in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

You better be nice to Chinese, we can ban India out of China ISS in 2024.

The Same partners involved in ISS have plans for NASA led LOP-G between Earth and Luna it will be smaller but its the next step in the right direction. The current plans calls for it to be finished by 2025.

Russia already has plans for Orbital piloted complex US has the option to join in if they want to Ruskies arnt gonna stop them. Geopolitics on Earth doesn't effects Space exploration much. But by then Private Space cooperation will give US other option the Infrastructure being built by these cooperation's will ultimately benefit United states. Other nations particularly china and Russia need to start something similar the age of space programs financed solely by National governments is over now.

ISS will continue to serve for 5-6 More years before its planned Deorbiting over Pacific.

ESA will not join this plan. They would rather join concrete Chinese space station program which is already in the pipeline. What you posted is so far all in drawing board and nothing concrete has happened. NASA has no budget unless miracle happned or USN cut downed number of CVN to save ISS.

LOL! I think the Europeans would rather do experiments in their own modules like the 3 they have in the ISS rather than being simply hotel guests. You seem to look at this too simplistically.

We can .just extend the station life until the Starship is proven (hey you had to delay your station construction due to the CZ5 debacle) and then we can sell them their own Starship that they can modify. They will be happy campers.

LOL.. Maybe the ESA astronaut are simply just too bored and decide come to China for holiday.

Or maybe ESA personnel come to China for discussion of experiment conducted onboard China space station are just hoax or comedy show...

See how these sourgraped try desperate to convince themselves from their failure. :lol:

The Europeans also trained and visited the Soviet MIR. That didn’t mean they gave up on the joint ISS project...it actually gave them an incentive to join.

Just look at it as history repeating itself.
Europeans->MIR->joined ISS
Europeans->Chinese station->Starship

LOL.. In the end, the ESA training with Soviet prove fruitful,right?

ESA regularly sends astronauts to the International Space Station, but the lack of launch capability means taking a ride with other space-faring nations, and in the future that could include China.

"Europe has no proper capsule to fly to space so we always need to have a rocket and to be invited by another nation. Currently we fly on a Soyuz rocket, so everyone who flies on a Soyuz rocket needs to learn Russian," Maurer said in an ESA WebTV interview at the Berlin Air and Space Show on April 27.

Thanks China for training these two astronauts for the ISS! They put your training to good use.

Here Samantha Cristoforetti is talking to reporters after spending almost 6 months on the International Space Station.
