What to discuss and what not to....

Many of us will agree that threads on banned topics, low value and non-defense, non-social,non-world affairs have grown in number.

India's Poverty, Gandhi was gay, Jinnah was pork eater, Pakistan is a "Failed State", Rape, Local news (child buried alive, sold for few bucks), religious ( oftenly problematic)...you name it and people jump on it. And this is worsening everyday.

Blame is on all of the members. Elite, senior, new, every member is trying to score points instead of avoiding these threads. I am as guilty as anyone.

No matter how new or senior the member is, they post in such a way that every now and then any worthy thread gets derailed even by OP himself (adding some pathetic punch lines or title), or by the first reply on it.

People are becoming more hostile, irresponsible, uncompromising and destructive mindset, attacks on religion etc. Profanity has increased.

Shouldn't we think before we post according to how it will feel to us if someone uses same words against us.

I think it has been discussed earlier. But shouldn't we take a fresh look at the present situation.

Little leg pulling, moderate teasing etc. most of us can handle and enjoy, it spice up the thing and its natural considering the major posters of these forum are of rival countries.

Kindly make suggestions and possible solutions with unbiased and rational mindset so that this forum has its sheen as were before.

P.S. Kindly refrain on mud slinging and putting entire blame on one party (no one is an angel out here)

I agree with KRAIT, the reason for this growing hostility in my opinion are these "In it for the moment Trolls", they log on troll and get banned for a week. Pass 7 days, they are back for their short-lived stint on the forum.

One solution can be if number of infractions for ban to be reduced for new members so that when they spend more time on forum, they can be more mature and responsible (exception are always there) and it will limit the number of trolls too.

People should stop posting threads on Rape atleast if you can't stop yourself. Its a defense forum, not a social issue one.

Scoring cheap points on this heinous crime is indeed a shameful act.

Perhaps make a new rule no one can post new threads until they reach 1,000 posts and that should greatly reduce such problems. Member with more than that number of posts tends to be more restrained than the newly arrivals.

If someone is indulging in wrong practice, It doesn't Mean that we should also start doing that. However, one can refrain from doing it. Pride and Foolishness goes hand by hand ..

adnan farouki the best example he unban for 3 days and then banned for a 15 . if you count he banned 90% his timee on forum but i am sure its double ID of someone .

Go see the thread. I told OP its a banned topic and read the list of such topics first. Don't jump on me if you haven't seen it.....I mean that you can show restrain on posting banned topics and as new members look up to you guys whether you feel different or not.

People dont even pay attention from to the issues of rape just keep on firing from our shoulders to prove their mardangi in the threads.Its like we are just reduced to the level of animals by men to prove their superiority over other men and for that we are being used on this forum with impunity.

Does anyone pays attention how it feel to us or all are living dead on the forum.

We are just being made a mere objects to kick around on the forum.be it rape issue,or any women atrocity related issues.

If people discuss cause and solution of these issues is then fine.but wat mostly goes on is we are dragged to the lowest level of being called prostitutes etc.

its most of time really get ****** and disgusting that i feel like puking at.

How could I even let this post go without expressing appreciation for at least ONE of us to have thought about these things. Let me promise as one sole member of this community to be more introspectively critical prior to posting. Except for the occasional little pique of course!
