What rules for Chinese and Pakistanis if want to be friends?

Due to CPEC, there are more chances that Chinese and Pakistanis will have to work together. What rules needs to be known before communication?

Here I listed what I know about Chinese:
For Thousands of years China is a secular country. Confucius does warn Chinese people do not trust any god-like thing子不语怪力乱神. In reality that means two things:

1. In top level, it means that state institution is ahead of any religion. For example, Chinese Mulisms 回教徒 ‘s motto is 'love the country and worship Allah' 爱国爱教 。 Note here religion is behind the country.
2. in social life, when a male Chinese Muslim try to marry a normal Chinese woman, he can not force her to join the Islam at any time. I do have female friend rejected Chinese Muslim whose parents wanted her to be a Muslim after marriage.
