This place used to be fun from 2008 to 2014.

it’s mellowed out now.

bhartis were very emotionally invested online so setting them on fire was easy and something I did passionately to kill time.

oh well, the only constant is change.
There's a reason for that. Between 2008-13 Pakistan was probably at its worst phase ever since its existence. My generation (the millennials) grew up in a Pakistan which was almost torn apart due to insurgencies, war on terror, political decay, demoralised army and God knows what not. It really was a tough time being a Pakistani. I remember bomb blasts were the norm but the resilience and determination of Pakistanis stood out like a shining star through all those turbulent years. I lost quite a few childhood friends due to terrorism in very horrific circumstances.

The Indians probably visited here more in numbers to experience the wholesome schadenfreude over the misfortune that this nation was going through. This is also the reason why most of our current youth is quite grounded comparatively speaking but low on self esteem. However, post 2015 things started to change for the better. The champions trophy win and that little victory of 27feb worked like magic and rejuvenated the spark that one felt before 9-11. On the other hand the indians' fortunes have been on the downward spiral somewhat and they have been found wanting. Hence, it reflects in their low numbers on the forum. Most of them are rss trolls who thankfully have a shorter lifespan than a mosquito.
