What patriotism mean to you

.
In that case you'd never join your country in a war!

Soldiers are a political tool, nothing less nothing more. The only thing they can hold on to is their mission.
If there is a war I'd try to stop it, if I fail others will come.

.
Everyone loves their country for whatever naive reasons there is.
Still in this world people are bought up by their GOV believing how
wonderful their physical boundary is and everyone else on the other side are
either enemies or simpletons.

Let me quote what some astronaut said......

For those who have seen the Earth from space, and for the hundreds and perhaps thousands more who will, the experience most certainly changes your perspective. The things that we share in our world are far more valuable than those which divide us.
- Donald Williams, USA

Patriotism is ones rightful duty for his country in the time of need
without offending other nations.

I am sorry to say but these days patriotism has become synonymous with blindly supporting one's government or country men regardless of its course. True patriot is the one who stands up to domestic tyranny before it can oppress his neighbour or enemy.

Why you feel the need of war anyway. I guess when you take part in war to defend the basis right of your peoples which is freedom then it should not offend other nations who try to take away this right by waging war but if you attack and wage war on other nations without any valid reason then i guess you are oppressor

yes soldiers are blind patriot because they just have to follow orders
