'Kashmir Solidarity Day' is a national holiday in Pakistan held on 5 February each year. Let's hear what the ordinary Pakistani knows about it.
It's clear very few Pakistanis know what it's all about and neither do they seem interested. It's just another holiday for them to enjoy when they go see Bollywood films, listen to Indian film music, tune in to Zee TV or Star Plus to see Indian soaps, go shopping for kababs or a nice lunch at a decent restaurant!! Or even go visit family and friends.
Kashmir is just somewhere on the hazy horizon which they don't know much about, nor care about except the political class, honchos like Hafiz Saeed who needs to keep himself relevant to the hoards he has fed on nothing but his propaganda rants and of course the Pakistan Army.
And oh yes! Many keyboard warriors on PDF too!!!
