I know but the point is - the system of governance doesn't matter - it's the results and development.
If army rule achieved results I would not be against it - but it clearly isn't.
The army is just as incompetent and corrupt as every other institution, and that's the reason their political meddling is failing so badly. If it wasn't, we'd be in a much stronger position today.
It's not the business of the Army to run the business of the State, even if the army is not corrupt they are incapable of running a country.
Pakistan main anamoly is that army rule of 35 plus years have destroyed the civilian institutions and it's not that it has made the army strong, rather it has turned the army into a coercive, subjugating hegemonic power not ready to cede the space to the civilian government.
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, as said.
And a strong, respectful, assertive judiciary adds to the country prestige and making it a viable successful state.
